Site-specific interventions | Axarquía Mountains, Málaga, Spain | Winter 2019

A series of interventions on centuries-old olive trees using painted iron rods, wire, threads, and textiles. Industrial and manufactured materials enter into dialogue with the trees' irregular forms, introducing temporary structures into a landscape shaped by centuries of cultivation. The interventions explore the relationship between human activity, the passage of time, and the living forms that carry its traces.
