Black-painted thistles, 3D-printed from recycled plastic, interact with wire netting to create an artificial botanical environment. By reproducing organic forms through industrial processes, the installation questions how we recognize and distinguish natural organisms from their synthetic counterparts. The thistle becomes both a familiar plant and a manufactured object, suggesting new possibilities for the reproduction and transformation of nature.
